Race and Rally is a motorsport parts and safety equipment retailer in Lisburn, Northern Ireland. It was founded in 2006 and sells rally and race components online at raceandrally.com, and from its premises on Longstone Street.
Getting your safety kit ready for the 2027 season
Before the first event of 2027, most scrutineers will look at the same few things: in-date harnesses, an approved seat on sound mountings, a frontal head restraint, and a working extinguisher system. Race and Rally stocks each of these in a single shop:
- Seats and mounting. Browse the competition seats, then check the seat mounting brackets and runners for the shell you choose.
- Restraints. Shop harnesses and HANS devices. Match the harness to your seat and to the HANS posts you use.
- Fire safety. Choose from plumbed-in rally extinguishers, hand-held extinguishers, and mounts and accessories.
- Electrics. Your cut-off needs to work from inside and outside the car, so look at the battery isolators and the wider electrical range.
Check the expiry dates and homologation labels against your championship's regulations. The shop can't make that call for you.
Mechanical jobs while the car is off the road
If the shell is already stripped, now is a good time to refresh the suspension and steering, and to service the engine cooling and fuelling systems, including the fuel filters.
Christmas shopping for a driver or co-driver
Race and Rally sells a gift voucher that can be spent on any part of the range. For Christmas delivery cut-offs, check the website.
